What are you thoughts on the last book? For me, I went on vacation when the book was released so it took me almost 3 weeks to finish it, since I never had time to read. But I think that since I read it at a slower pace, I had more time to absorb the plot line and stuff.
SPOILER: Like 3 chapters before Snape was killed, I began to suspect that he wasn't the baddie everyone believed he was. And then we find out his childhood love for Lily! That seems so unlike him! But it's so cute.
And I was so ready for Harry to die. Sure it would have made me sad and all, but I had gone through so much mental preparation that he'd die and everything would be sad and the end. I think everyone expected J.K. Rowling to kill off our hero. I guess it puts a nice twist on things?

ahhhhhhhh, gooodness, I LOVED the book!! I was so excited that I finishd it in less than two days and still took everything in!! (but... that was the same with 6th one as well...haha) it was really great
(maybe spoliers ahead)
Yeah, I know, the thing with Snape was SO unexpected! It was so weird ... I mean, it was SO like the fanfics i read on the internet, i was like, did JK take their ideas or something? cuz in a fic i read, Dumbledore and Snape had a legilimency conversation on the roof weree Dulmbledore was killed, so that Dulbledore TOLD snap to kill him! And in the 7th bbook it was like that, just planed beforehand not right at that time and the thing with Lily that was also in the fanfic i was like whoa.......... yeah it was great but seriousl i was so sad when Fred ad Dobby and Tonks and Lupin died!!! I couldn't believe it! Poor Goerge...he was closest to his twin (no duh) but i was kind of hoping for JK to write in what they did for Fred, how George felt, bla bla bla but neverthe less it was brilliant!!
there. done rambling
haha >o< .. xraine

Omigosh, you're right! It does seem very fanfic'ish. I was devastated when Fred, Dobby, Lupin and Tonks died. Especially the first two. Poor Weasley twins... one has no ear, the other is just dead. At first I thought she might as well kill George since he already lost an ear, keep the other twin whole!, but I guess it's only fair? o___o If you lose an ear, you don't have to die... so sorry Fred! And poor Teddy... growing up without parents. At least he had Godfather Harry.

yeah Godfather Harry haha that sounds funny LOL I would've been hapy if noone died but of course that wouldn't be too realsistic i just didn't think it'd be like, one of my fave characters and the others as well seriously i nearly teared up when I read that Dobby and Fred had died and then again when Tonks and Lupin died I swear JK needs to write an 8th maybe about their kids or somethig hmm? ((((( ahhh, all in all it was the best book ever! (along with 1-6) haha

I didn't really like the pace of the book too much. To me, it seemed that too much time was spent in the Forest of Dean =__= and planning in Sirius's house. But at the end, the book really began to shine. I wonder what Victorie Weasley would look like, since Fleur is so beautiful and Bill is so scarred now. x)

Loved Albus Severus --> Named after two of Hogwarts headmaster and one of them a Slytherin and the bravest man that Harry ever knew.
Also loved Luna for the five beautifully painted pictures in her bedroom chained with one word repeated a thousand times in gold --> friends...friends...friends....
Also loved all those who died including MadEye Moody. There is never going to be victory without sacrifices.
But there are some parts that really confused me. Like how did the Sword of Gryffindor end up in the Sorting Hat when the goblin already took it in Lestranges Vault? And how did Harry survive the killing curse when he is a horcrux and if I remember correctly, the only way to destroy the soul in the Horcrux is to destroy the Horcrux itself. Haha. But nice book overall!!!
