S.H.E.'s third world tour to kick off this October

Ever since their debut in 2001, popular Taiwanese girl group S.H.E. has held two successful world concert tours. The trio will soon flag off their third extravaganza called S.H.E. Is The One in October later this year. Continuing from their 2004's Fantasy Land and 2006's Moving Castle themes, Selena Jen, Hebe Tien and Ella Chen will present an all-new mature makeover for their 2009 world tour starting in Hong Kong on Oct 16 and 17. The trio will then perform in the Shanghai Stadium (also known as the 80,000 people's stadium, which held the football preliminaries during the Beijing 2008 Olympics) on Oct 31, which also falls on Selina's 28th birthday.
The upcoming event is based on their latest book release, 3 Spas of Love. With love as the theme for the event, the girls fit in perfectly well with their young age. Sharing an in-depth explanation for their theme, Selina said, "Our girl group has been around for eight years. I guess that our third world tour has broken the records. The three of us can stand on this stage today because of love."
"To solely depend on the efforts of the three of us is not enough. We have to thank our fans. It is the combination of our fans' love and us that we can bring you this third world tour," Ella interjected.
The trio will also be dressed according to their characters as a star, moon, and the sun. The pint-sized Ella represents the sun and will wear an eye-catching outfit full of passion and confidence. The saccharine-sweet doll-like Selina will be modeled after the moon while the intelligent and effervescent Hebe will be dressed to shine like a star. To mark the girl's growth over the years, they will be dressed in complicated multi-layers while maintaining their young appeal to present a more mature image.
With complicated 3-D like outfits for this concert, the sun rays from Ella's outfit, Milky Way on Selina, and the shining stars on Hebe's outfit are keeping the girls away from each other. "We are like porcupines. We will poke each other if we stood close to one another," quipped Hebe.
Unwilling to divulge more about their concert, the girls promise an even more fanciful and powerful performance. Busy with dance practices, the girls revealed that they will be performing their classic pieces, ballads and up-tempo songs. They also shared that the arrangement and compositions will be completely changed to present an all-new visual and hearing experience.
